Parochial Church Council
The Parochial Church Council (PCC) meets once each month to plan the administration and running of the church. Chaired by the Vicar, Stuart Currie, the PCC is made up of Clergy, Church Wardens, Deanery Synod Representatives and members of the congregation elected at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM), held in April each year. A list of current PCC members, including any special responsibilities, can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.
PCC-Members
The next PCC meeting will be held on Monday 5 March, 2012 at 7.30 pm in the Hartley Brown Room.
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (for all members of the Church) will take place after the 10.00 am Service on Sunday 22 April. At this meeting, we will elect new members to the PCC - if you are interested in joining, or would like to nominate someone to stand for election, please talk to Rev Stuart Currie, or a Church Warden.

Parish Office
The Parish Office is open on Saturdays from 10.00 until 11.00 a.m. for the booking of baptisms and weddings, calling of banns and other enquiries.
Ministry, Serving, Readers and Intercessors
A large number of members of our congregation participate in services as readers and intercessors (leading prayers) and in the ministry and serving team. New members are always welcome - if you would like to join in this ministry, please talk to Stuart or a member of the PCC. The rota for readers, intercessors and the ministry and serving team can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.
Church-sitters and Sidespersons
A number of people enable St Stephen’s to be open to the public during ‘Open Church’. Sidespersons assist the Church Wardens in the smooth running of services in Church. If you would like to join either the church-sitting or sidespersons teams, please talk to one of the Church Wardens.
Church Flowers
Individuals provide and arrange the flowers in Church on a rota basis. If you would like to join this small team please talk to Liz Flemming.
Church Cleaning and Churchyard Maintenance
Carried out by a number of volunteers who organise themselves to ensure the fabric of the Church always presents a warm welcome. More people to lend a hand are always welcome. If you feel you can spare some time to help please talk to one of the Church Wardens.
Tea and Coffee Group
Tea and coffee is provided in the Bishop Allenby Hall after the 10.00 am Family Communion service on Sunday mornings, and this group take it in turns to make the drinks and then clear the hall. The task requires around 10 minutes before the service and about an hour after the service and we need more people to help out: please contact Adrian and Barbara Everett if you are able to help this service to continue.
